21 Day Fix: Day 4 Thoughts

I haven't been perfect, but I'm still going... and that's a big deal for me! With a very Type A, perfectionist personality, oftentimes a tiny mess up on a diet also results in me giving up on it. The silly rationale is that if I couldn't do it totally right, then I should stop and start over another time.

For example, we went out to eat for lunch at Oragami on Freret Street (yum!) and I tried to figure what "containers" would correlate to my sushi meal. I'm sure I wasn't exactly right, and that would usually drive me crazy.

Also, last night, I used one of my "starch" containers to measure out some yellow rice. Technically, it probably should have been quinoa or wild rice, but I still see it as a win that I measured it out :)

Regardless, this is the first eating plan that I could actually see myself sticking with. In just a few days, it has really helped me to stop mindlessly snacking and start focusing on having balanced (but still enjoyable) meals. Not to mention I've been making time to exercise every day.
